Repeat Prescriptions

multicolour_pillsIn the interests of safety we DO NOT accept requests for repeat medication over the telephone. There are very few exceptions to this rule.

Request slips (which come from the pharmacist with the previous repeat prescription) can be left at either surgery and we also accept requests by fax, letter or online via the link at the top of this page.

  • Include your name, address and date of birth.
  • Indicate using the tick boxes on the prescription where you would like the prescriptions to go.
  • Include the full drug name and dosage as well.

Oakley patients should indicate whether they wish to collect their prescription from the surgery or from the chemist.  At Overton, unless indicated otherwise, prescriptions will routinely be sent across to Overton Pharmacy.

If you send a stamped addressed envelope with your prescription request we are happy to post your prescription to you.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
